D-to-the-edication

We dedicated Adie at church on Sunday! Just a public statement that we'd raise her to know JC. It was so much fun... my dad I speak about frequently is the one at the mic praying. My step-mom Susie is to the right and Darin's ma is on the left. As you can see, Miss Adie slept through the whole thing even though her daddy has her in a head lock. =) Not really, but it kinda looks that way.

Adie woke up at the very end and looked around like, "what'd I miss?" You missed your first stage deput, cutie!

Being all dressed up calls for some family pictures! Sunday morning when I asked Darin to wear blue he said,

"Because Adie is wearing blue? And let me guess.. you too?"

Oh, the boy is good. But look at the cute picture it produced! I am seriously the odd man out with my green eyes. =/ I guess the Lord didn't want this picture to be too over board cute if he gave me blue eyes too. Yep, that's it.

She's got us right where she wants us...

And I do believe that fall is my favorite season. I think I say that about every season, but I'm serious this time. Pumpkins.. leaves changing, sweatshirt weather.. football (who'd have ever guessed I'd be such a football lover?).. apple crisp... cute pumpkins with our names on them...

Fall is cool. Yup.

And a shout out to my sis in law Natalie whom I got the pumpkin idea from. =) She does it every year and this is the first year I've been able to do it. =)

Please say a little prayer that the "G", "H" and "B" on the keyboard still work... Adie just drooled massively and those letters are drenched. The other day I was trimming my nails a little too closely to the puter and now we have to push the "V" really hard because there's a nail clipping under it. The worse part is that I can't even creatively come up with a way to blame it on the baby. Nope.

Now you know, sweetie, why the "V" never shows up when you think you've pushed it. He loves reading my blog to find out things...
