Seriously.. this whole 3-year-old-not-taking-a-nap thing has been much harder than going from one child to two children! NO JOKE! It's hard to come up with things for Adie to do all afternoon while I'm trying to edit pictures and do laundry and make dinner for the night. She rests on the couch for an hour but then what do we do with the rest of the afternoon? Well.. today she had her own little photo shoot!
Wanted to do this for Valentines Day but I couldn't wait that long. (Truth be told.. I feared that I'd forget the idea when February came along!)
Then we practiced lighting stuff in front of my new backdrop for a session I have tonight. Yep.. been dragging my feet with getting a backdrop for insides stuff. I just don't like it much. =( Love natural light/outside stuff MUCH MORE! But with all my baby packages and some newborn stuff in the winter coming up I finally got a little backdrop do-dob.
It's impossible for the girl to smile normal these days...
And every heart-hair pictures needs a KISS tongue, right?
And a wide-opened mouth one...

And the only semi normal one we got out of 50. Which is fine.. we didn't do our little session for any reason but to practice with my new backdrop!
And the piece of white trim that will go at the bottom of the damask is outside drying. =)

what types of things did you get for inside? i want to get a back drop & fancy flash lighting, but i think its too expensive and i don't do pictures enough to justify it! (plus, we live in CA where we can do outside all year long!)
