You may ask...

What have I been doing with my "time off" from my photography? Well, I've still had 4 sessions this month with another 2 later this month.. so be expecting updates on the photog blog.  =) I had both Saturday and Sunday off last weekend and have them off again this weekend!  WOW.. can't remember last time that happened!  I LOVE my job and miss you all.. but this break has been rejuvenating and I will be back in March with great ideas and a new refreshed spirit.  Make sure you schedule a session with me asap if you need a Saturday.. I only have a few left in both March and April.

I'll tell ya what I've been doing!

**Have been exercising 3-4 times a week. Doing Jillian DVD's or circuit training workout that Darin makes his sprinters do.  I think I'll do a whole blog post here soon about my workout regamine.  Not sure I'll ever have the body I had before kiddos but I'm determined to be tone, be able to run out the stairs (numerous times) without getting winded and to make my God-given temple as healthy as I can get it.  Yep. Blog post to come..

**Learned how to make cinnamon rolls.  not just any cinnamon rolls, grandma Holsopple's cinnamon rolls.  I've never worked with yeast.. quite frankly, I'm afraid of it.  I think it's the whole knowing what temperature to have the water so you don't kill the yeast. And the fact that everything with yeast take so much time.. I don't want to invest an entire day and get rock hard, non-raised cinnamon rolls out of it.  =/ so for Christmas this year Liz, my sister in law, and I asked for weird things.  She asked for a tutorial on making cinnamon rolls and I asked for help on the quilt I want to make.  Side note.. look at this quilt she's making for Darin's cousin Lisa's daughter, Colette...

Isn't that gorgeous?

Ok, back to roll making... here we are putting the rolls in the pan...

And all 3 of us in our cute aprons Grandma made...
 And the end results...
They turned out rather chubby.  But delicious. =)  Darin did NOT complain and thinks that I have a future in cinnamon roll making. Or at least wants me to practice.  A lot. =)

**Coordinated my 3rd recipes swap.  It was CRAZY good!  72 gals participated and we had 58 pages of new recipes. Thanks to everyone that put recipes in!  The first new recipe we are trying is tomorrow night...

**Took a week long break from Facebook.  I love the relationship's I've kept up on, the way it's promoted my business and it's just an "out" for a stay at home mama, but I felt very strongly that God wanted me to take a break.  I'll be back on Thursday. =)

**Met a new friend at Aldi yesterday. She's a blog follower.  I'm always humbled and surprised at who all reads this thing.  I think I'm gunna make something and give it away to make you all leave me a comment and tell me how you found my blog and why you keep reading. I hate it when other blog readers do that.. HA!  Maybe you guys can ask me questions again.. that was fun last year!   Now. I just have to figure out what I'm making!  It's gunna be cool, don't worry.  Stay tuned...

**And last but not least.. I've reclaimed my long lost hobby.. SCRAPBOOKING!!!  Oh how I miss it so. =) I vowed to never say, "I'm so behind!" But I am. =/  I whipped up 4 pages here recently and wanted to share them with ya. I worked on our personal-every day pictures earlier this month (ordered 400 and some) so I'd have updated pictures to work with.

Here's a page on Miss Joya's new found love for her daddy. =) Used to be a mama's girl.. pretty sure I've lost her to Papa Smurf.  (remember to double click on the pic if you want to see the journaling and details clearer)

Been waiting a LONG TIME to do this page!  I've been saving pictures of Miss Adie falling asleep in funny places for months and months.  I wanted to put them all on one page and I was happy with how it turned out. =)  Every picture makes me giggle.  Now.. not when it was happening, that's for sure!

Miss Joya's 18 month pictures and her random stats at 18 months...

Adie's first day of school page. =) Um, that's weird to say!  She's getting too old too fast!
Funny thing she said the other day (and anyone with a gymnastics background will giggle)
She and Joya have a small bar in the basement given to us from one of Darin's track girls that is a level 9 gymnast.  Here at home and at gymnastics class she's been doing PENNY-drops.  The other day she hoisted Joya up on the bar and said,
"joya, I'm gunna teach you how to do a GUM-drop."
Had to giggle. =)

Yay for learning how to make cinnamon rolls! They are dangerously addicting. :) That quilt is so beautiful, and your scrapbook pages are pretty and creative. Thanks for doing the recipe swap - I enjoy reading through them all and getting new ideas!
