Learning this party of 5 stuff...

Life has been a bit crazy since we brought home the wee one!  Adjusting from 2 kids to 3 has been challenging. Seems like there just isn't enough of me to spread out among everyone!  Today I took a shower at like 8am and I told Darin,

"wow.. I should shower more often!  I feel great after one of those babies!"

Life is good, tho.  I love being a mommy to 3 little girls. They are pretty darn cute if I do say so myself. =)

I've given up cleaning up the house for a bit. This is also thanks to my father for gifting me back all my barbie stuff from the late 80's.  Darin had the great idea of getting all 4 boxes of it out to occupy the girls. This has created HOURS of entertainment.  The Barbie princesses have collided with the 80's barbies and are getting a long well.
Look at all this pink mess...
That is only half of my old Barbie stuff too.  I've come to the conclusion I was the biggest Barbie brat ever growing up. =/

Oh, and over Darin's little break when we had Emery he finished up my shelves and this is what the entertainment center wall looks like thus far.  I have a few things to add to the right side of the shelving because it needs more.

And we don't know those people in the 11x14 frame to the right.  I really wanted a classic picture of all 3 girls to put in that one and it was pretty much a disaster.  Between Joya sticking her tongue out, Adie giving me a big goofy grin and Emery screaming.. this is the only semi normal shot we got...
Joya isn't looking and looks like an amputee from the knees down, Adie's grin is super, super natural and  Emery is between screaming.  Not really frame worthy.  Yes.. this was the best one out of the 50 taken!

Oh.. and Adie has been helping me out by dressing herself.  This is what she's sporting today...
Papa Smurf and Peyton Manning sure would be proud!

Emery is still adorable and snugglie.  We're still trying to figure out her quirks.  She's growing so fast and I've mourned every second.. we're pretty sure our family is complete so I've prepared myself to enjoy her tininess and all the "last" baby things we'll experience with her.

And she's already copped an attitude with mommy's picture taking...

"mom.. do you REMEMBER our first 2 newborn sessions?  I'm not jiggy with one million pictures shot of me while I try to sleep!"

Few more images I've edited between feedings and breaking up fights with the two bigs.

Only one I got of her smiling.

Having 3 girls means there's a great deal of drama in the house.  This picture shows that even our yawns are a bit dramatic. =) Love it.

All in all we've survived the first 2 weeks. This party of 5 thing is fun but crazy. =)

Congratulations, Darcy :) Your family is beautiful. And yes, I am still hoping that baby #2 for us is a GIRL because I was a Barbie fanatic, too :)

Okay, so you don't know me from Adam, but I've been stalking your blog since before your first was born. I went to MC with Darin, Dina, etc. and linked to your blog way back when. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I'm laughing so hard that I'm shedding tears! We became a family of 5 in July, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one experiencing the crazy life! I'm not a photographer by any means, but trying to get a picture with all three is next to impossible! Heck, going to the store to pick up a gallon of milk takes 2 hours, and sometimes I walk out without the milk! Don't worry...your kids are normal...and beautiful! Just wanted to say hang-in there...it's got to get easier, right?!

Darcy-

I came back to this post! :) We just moved and recently bought a new TV to hang up. How did you hide the cords on your TV?? Did Darin go through the wall? My husband and I want to mount our TV but haven't figured out a way to do it without the ugly cords hanging out. :(
