Darin: "You are scrapping, aren't you? Darce, did you forget to eat dinner again?"

Regionals went SO super well and we had so much fun. Everyone had an excellent meet and we retired everyone's floor routines. It's sad to think that we'll never see those routines again!! They were performing them SO well. Ah.. massive floor routine choreographing next year, that's for sure! Back at the hotel, the coaches got to enjoy a very nice synchronized swimming routine in the pool that our girls put on. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself.
It's bittersweet that gymnastics is finished although I'm excited about the extra time I will have. You mean I may actually make dinner now? Hope I remember how to cook.. so does Darin. I'll actually have Saturday's open to clean my house and do laundry? Someone please remind me how to sort socks.. wait.. I don't WANT to remember how to sort socks. =/ Awards program is Thursday night so now it's time to put together the annual end-of-the-year slideshow presentation. I've been in charge of it since I started coaching and enjoy it so much. It was one of my favorite parts of gymnastics when I competed. Seniors always get a segment at the end showing all four years of their career. I've had Sarah, our only senior, since she was 15. I can feel the tears welling up already.. I'm not saying anything else because the girls read the ol' blogg-a-roo...
K, I'll leave you with a page I did on Saturday night. I did 3 total, but will wait to post them. =) Ahhh.. the suspense! I'm humoring myself, here.
This is my sis-in-law, Liz!! Seriously, she and I were separtated at birth. We get along SO well.. it's scary. =)
