And the new member of the family will be a.....

GIRL!!!

Yep, that big ol' foot belongs to our baby girl! Adie's hands were ready to recieve a big ol' football when she was born so we're used to huge extremedies. =)
We were so excited to open our envelope that we opened it at 12:00am on the 25th and waited to tell anyone until morning. =) Darin was SUPER surprised considering he's been calling my belly our boy name for the past week. He was convinced it was a boy and appologized to baby girl. I kept telling him it was a girl and he kept telling me it was a boy. But he's not dissapointed AT ALL!!! He can't believe we're having ANOTHER amazing little girl considering the one we have is pretty darn awesome!

The poor little girl doesn't have a name. So yeah, won't be sharing it with you because there isn't one! We have a few in mind and want to honor Darin's dad but nothing's grabbing us. For those of you who are recent readers, AdeLYN is in honor of my mom Linda and my middle name Lyn. (my mom died almost 6 years ago from cancer) Darin's dad's name was James and Darin's middle name is Jay after him so we'll figure out a name with Jay in it for baby girl H. (Darin's dad was killed in a tree cutting accident 3 years ago) So yeah.. we want some meaning in their names since we lost our parents at a young age.

Can you believe in 20 short weeks there will be another daddy's little girl to add to this picture????

This was taken on Tuesday at the lodge in Michigan that my family stayed at. Adie went down a huge tubing hill and loved it! Until she did a face dive in the snow as they were walking up the hill and then wiped her face with her gloves ALSO covered in snow. Then she was hot to trot and was ready to go in. Can't believe we are going ot have another little diva!!!

11 out of 37 commenters said it was a girl... so I numbered the girl guessers and had Darin choose a number.. the lucky winner is #3 girl guesser...

JACKIE!!!

Email me and we'll discuss what you'd like me to make you with my January SERENDIPITY kit!

Congratulations Darcy! I'm so excited for you!

I'm in a family of three girls - all with J names... Jennifer, Jamie, and Jillian.

I love that you're incorporating family names into the names of your children. So sweet.

Jameson is a pretty name... but maybe too boyish? I don't know - I tend to steer towards those unisex names anyway. (have you seen my kids Skylar and Mackenzie?)

Anyway.. Congratulations again! What a great Christmas surprise!

Congratulations, Darcy and family! How awesome! Yay for more pink! ;) Oh, I love Jayden and Jada (pronounced Jayda), too! My daughter Caylin is named using my Mom's middle name (Kay) and my middle name (Lynn) combined. ;) I love names with special meaning like that! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!! Hugs!

Ok totally weird - MY little girl's name is Adelyn Jae. I just loved Adelyn and Jae is after her daddy and grandpa. I must say you have great taste in names :)

Adie is my very first girl (two older brothers) so I LOVE having a girl and I think having two would be amazing! Congrats you guys!

I'm so happy for you!!! You are great parents for little girls...not that you wouldn't have been great parents for a boy. So, now James has 2 options!! :) We need lots of good girls to be raised and you are the two to do it! Congratulations!! We're so happy for you!

Congratulations on Baby Girl #2! It's so fun having two of the same (well...they definitely won't be the same...but you know what I mean!). I like Jaycee/Jaycie but I'm sure you guys will come up with something great. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
