Now I know why...

My mom locked herself in her room when she was wrapping Christmas presents. =/ I started to wrap gifts when Adie Grace was napping. But she woke up. So I kept wrapping cuz all the mess was out. And she's only 19 months old. She doesn't know these gifts are for her, right?

We got her a baby doll kit that has a carrier, stroller, swing, pack-n-play and high chair in it. And genius me decides to take everything out and wrap it separately so she's got a lot to open instead of one box. (And confession.. since I bought it like a month ago I've been DYING to get it out and play with it. Dude, every piece is pink with brown pokies and SO STINKING CUTE! But I refrained. Until yesterday when I had the amazing idea to take everything out of the box so she'd have more to open. It wasn't because I secretly wanted to get it all out and play with it myself. Not at all. I needed ot see if her babies would fit in it. Yep.)

Stupid me gets the little carrier out and convenient for Adie it was within her reach. So she snatched it up and proceeded to play with it for a half an hour. She put baby in it...

Took baby right to her kitchen and fed her some dinner...

And kissed baby over and over in her cool new carrier.

And I couldn't take it away from her. I didn't have the heart to. So when we left to go see grandma for the night she put it down and snatched it up so I could wrap it later.

Whew.

Good thing she doesn't remember stuff like that.
And good think I know she's going to LOVE it!!!
And double good thing that I got to take it all out and play with it a bit before we give it to her. =)

I swear girls are too much fun to buy for. It is a good thing I don't have one or we would be broke.

This is too funny. It would be really funny if she did remember. lol

I haven't even begun to think about wrapping presents. Heck I have to buy them first.

Darcy - Your stories are HILARIOUS!!! You have to scrap that one so you can make sure Adie knows that story when she's older! She will laugh so hard when she's 12 and you share that one with her. Oh, she is gonna LOVE those pink doll accessories! Awesome gift! And, a little confession...I am probably buying my God-daughter an American Girl doll for Christmas because I never had one and I want to play with one!!
