Yesterday Darin was going through old CD's and came across pictures of our house right when we started remodeling it.
I don't know if you guys love this stuff but we do (obviously!!).
Thought it would be fun to post some before and after pictures of the pad HGTV style...

Oh I can smell the grossness through that picture! The house had been smoked in for over 30 years. Had the same shag carpet & draperies from the 70's too. GORGEOUS!
This doesn't even look like the same room! We took down the walls that enclosed the basement stairs to make it an open staircase. Now you can also see where we put our master bedroom addition. Plucked out that back window and put our new room.
You guys interested in seeing more of our casa's before and after pictures or is this something only I am enjoying reminiscing about?

Hey Darcy- Just wanted to say that I enjoyed your before and after pics of your house. It is cool to see the changes that you have made and of course to see your decorating abilities as well. It looks pretty amazing and does look like a totally different house. Thanks for sharing, I would enjoy seeing more pics of the house if you want to share them.- Emily
I love before and after pictures! Iwouldn't mind seeing more. It's fun to see how others have improved their homes. I wish we had thought to do before pictures. Our house looked pretty bad before. Everything inside is beautiful now and we're working on landscaping.

Hahaha! I forgot just how disgusting your dining room was in the beginning stages....it smelled SOOOOO gross! The house is beautiful and so is your family. Smooches!
