So.
Adie has lived in her new room (our old master) for over 6 months. A few weeks ago my step-mom and I got busy and painted her room from the burgundy it was for Darin and I to a farm house scene. I originally wanted pink, pink and more pink but instead went with the farmhouse theme. Darin's grandma was making each great grandchild a quilt so I wanted to incorporate it into the room. I gave her my mom's scrap fabrics all the way back from the 70's so the quilt is extra special. She even made one for Joya so when Joya moves over to that room they'll have matching quilts. Here's a shot of the quilt...
The top 2/3rds of the room is sky blue with whimsical clouds here and there. The bottom 1/3rd is grass complete with a flowering picket fence...

(And FYI.. we don't wear pants here lately. The girl refuses to nap in pants and then they rarely make it back on after that. And she has a super runny nose from going to the rainy football game on Friday night.)
Here's another view of the grass, fence, sky and butterflies...

And grandma Kathy contributed a small mailbox she had in her stash. Adie checks to see if she got mail about as many times as I check my email a day. The girl gets it honestly. Darin and I have been having fun leaving her messages and pictures.
Here's a cloud and butterfly on her wall...
Joya is a pretty cute prop in the room too. She can't wait to play in here!
Her barn area isn't quite finished yet and neither is her farmhouse. The farmhouse will be daddy's old loft from college with the house on the bottom and she'll eventually sleep on top of it. (Many years from now when she won't fall out of it.. and even then she'll have some serious gates all around it!) And a kite will be put up on the ceiling shortly along with a clothes line for her to hang up her play laundry. And I'm on a mission to find a bird house too. Scouted out a artificial blooming cherry tree the other week when shopping with Hanni so I need to go see if it's still there too.
I'm having a tad too much fun with her room! I'll post more pictures as I get things done. =)

dude, thats the coolest looking room ever!!! can't wait to see the barn! you're way too creative :)
Holy cow, I love the room so far! The pic of Adie is sooo adorable! Braylon never naps with any clothes except his undies becuz he sweats so easily. And his clothes don't usually go back on either after nap unless we know someone is coming over or we're going outside or leaving for somewhere! :)
That is too cute! I love your decorating ideas.
