My 450th post!!!

Woah.. that's a lot of me talking nonsense! Anyone been with me the entire time I've had my blog? December of 2005??
Have a little idea. I've seen other bloggers do this before...
Do any of you have a burning question for me?
(I have had this idea for a long time.. just ever wondered if anyone would ask me anything?? It's kinda like that dream you have when you are engaged that you open the door to the sancuary and no one came to your wedding...)
Anywho.
I've had at least 2 questions lately in my comments that I haven't answered. I suck like that.
Or if you've been reading for awhile, rat yourself out! I want to meet you! I'll put you in the drawing too. =)
So next post I'll go ahead and answer those and answer any others that you all might post. It can be anything.. bout my photography, scrappin' and even personal stuff like my testimony.
I'll randomly draw a name and give out a prize. Haven't done that in a long time! Don't know what the prize will be yet.. I'll see what that person is into and go from there. Maybe I'll scrap you a page?? or if you are local and want me to shoot you, I'll give you a discount on your next photography shoot. =)
***
I'll leave you with my newest project.. the other night darin's grandma asked me if I had made a quilt yet. She had remembered me saying that I wanted to try to make one this winter. (Um.. I had totally forgotten because that's how I roll...) Got out my mom's vinatage 70's fabric and started one! Here's what it looks like thus far...
Yes.. very springy looking...
really don't know what I'm doing but that's half the fun!!!! And yeah.. my seams are meant to be on the outside.. I'm going for a fun frayed look. =)
Already I can hear ya in my comments.. "DARCY.. you screwed up your quilt!" =/

Alright.. ask me a question by Wednesday and you might win something very cool.. just not sure what yet! Depends who are you are....HA!

Question 1: Are you gonna shoot me with a gun or camera? "or if you are local and want me to shoot you, I'll give you a discount on your next photography shoot."

Question 2: What is the best surprise you have ever had?

What inspired you to start scrappin'?

Hi Darce,

I always love to read what you and your lovely family are doing :) So here's my question: What is the moment that has had the most impact on who you are today?

Take care!!

Hi Darcy! I love your blog! I've been following for some time now. I don't know if you remember me or not, but I was in youth group at CCW when Darin was the youth pastor.

My question is...

Have you always had such a close relationship with God? What is your testimony?

Thanks, Darcy! :)

Question:

Who is your favorite brother?

Hi Darcy,
I decided to de-lurk :) I randomly came across your blog back in 2008 and continually come back for your great stories and positive outlook on life.

My question is do you come up with your scrapbook page layouts yourself or do you use templates/packages? I myself am a scrapbooker and love your pages!

I'm a closet reader. I've gradually stopped commenting on many blogs that I read. I still read, just comment less. But I read yours from time to time!
I've seen your photography and LOVE it! And I have many friends who have used you! I know you do kids and families, etc. So...
My question:
Do you photograph weddings?

shiloh said...

okay darce, I know you'll be honest...what was the hardest thing when you first brought Joya home with Adie? Or what do you think is most difficult about having 2 little ones?

Jewel said...

Ok, I definitely want to know the answers to Shiloh's questions...since I'm expecting Baby #2 in June!!!

I tried to leave a comment yesterday but I don't think it got through. =) My question for you: have you ever thought about selling the stuff you sew? Love reading your stories!

Hi Darcy! I've been a long time reader of your blog. I've been wanting to ask you this question for a while now- Do you workout? If so, what do you do? Do you follow a certain diet? I know you've had issues with eating in the past. I'm just wondering how you stay so thin, and drop baby weight so quickly.

Have a blessed week!

Hey Darcy!

When you start reading in the Bible where do you start?

Do you plan on having more children?

Are you a big money saver?

SORRY! I know I asked three, why not!??!??

How do you find time in life to be a mommy, wife, scrapbooker, photographer? Do you ever sleep? Or just lay on the couch and do nothing?!?

My question for you is: When are you going to start writing your book of Darcy-isms??:) Defintely a must-do in your future!...(when it's not busy with all your other counteless hobbies:) You're one talented gal! love u!! (and great ?'s from everyone else!)

Ok so I love your photography [obviously!] and I want to know what kind of camera a goober like me should start with if I want to start taking better pictures. I love taking pictures but I am craving a slightly better quality and don't even know where to start!

I've been reading for at least a year now... 1 1/2 years maybe? I love your blogs though! Crack. Me. Up.

This is strange to post because I don't even know you really but I know Elaine and Chad as my pastors and you have taken some of their families photos and done an amazing job! I enjoy reading your blog and how you keep things real and have a great attitude about things even potty training! :D soooo my question...
What inspired you to start your own photography business? I know you enjoy taking pictures but was it a hobby or well how did it come to be?

I have been reading your blog as off and on since I stumbled across it. You are so motivated and are quite the inspiration to all of us moms. My question is how do you find the time for everything that you do?

Greg's question made me laugh out loud! This is a strange question but in the spirit of trying to find the good in everything what event in your life are you now thankful for that originally seemed like it couldn't possibly be good. I have a friend who is struggling with God's will in a situation and I want to possibly help him through other's experiences. Thanks Darcy.
