Always wonder...

what my girls will be into, ya know?  We are kinda sports oriented around here.  ("Kinda" being a stretch.. we are super competitive people in the sports department.)  I played strong side in volleyball all 4 years and was a gymnast in high school and Darin played football and ran track in both high school and college.  We then went on to coach our respective sports.. obviously Darin still does.. working on his 7th year.   We're going to a Colts game over Christmas Break instead of exchanging gifts with each other cuz we rather go to a game than get more "stuff".  I wish I was kidding when I tell you that in our basement Darin has a projector and 2 other TV's set up to watch 3 simultaneous football games.  That one really shows our (his) love of football.

Needless to say we're pretty sure the girls will be involved in sports.

But I always kinda wonder what sports they will like, you know?

We've guessed with the girls' personalities that Adie will be more likely to be in volleyball and basketball and such because she tends to be quite serious, very intense and competitive.  She's TOUGH.  She's very much an oldest child.

Our Joya?  Um. she's totally gunna be a cheerleader.  Or very mean basketball player. Or if she spikes a ball in someone's face she's gunna laugh on the other side of the net. She's just spunky.

Tonight we were hanging out and playing after dinner and Adie asked if she could wear her Princess leotard.  We put it on her and put the smallest leo that we have on Joya.

And then Joya confirmed that I'm pretty sure that's she gunna be a cheerleader.

She's screaming here showing us her lung capacity...
And showing her tude with her dance...
And she's perfected the head cock...
And then Adie totally surprised me with her little break out dance.. very cheerleaderish..
So I'm probably wrong in all my predictions and my tiny little Joya will play rugby and my Adie that screams when the bath water accidently splashed in her eyes will excel in swimming.

Who knows.

All I know is that I'll love them with whatever they choose to do.. whether it be drama, music or sports.  I'll love em. =)

***

Play time tonight ended with Joya climbing in her baby doll stroller.  She thought she was pretty cool...
And threw a fit when her sister started to push her in it...
and by the time they circled around the kitchen she was having a good time. =)
Until she tried to get out of the stroller...
As I laughed and shot the pictures....
She wasn't very happy, as you can see.  So I eventually helped her out.  While I was still giggling...

LOL! The stroller thing cracks me up because we have the same situation in our house!! As a gift, we were given one that supposedly was too small for them to be able to climb into... only they were wrong! We now have a bit of a race track established in our house for the speed demons as they push each other around the house. :)

It's Wendy... that is great. Love the pictures of Joya trying to get out of the stroller! Wyatt is totally all-american at catching any ball so football or baseball although he's great at basketball already! Lucas... he likes to put on shoes especially my high-heels so not sure what to make of that.... YET.

Those pictures are hilarious. It's definitely fun to think about what they will be interested in and good doing! Alexander will probably like anything that he can run while doing and not get into trouble. So, probably soccer like his dad! Gabriel is still a mystery right now. He shows no interest in playing ball, and I'm pretty sure that Alexander already had a mean overhand throw by now, which was way ahead of the "curve". Ba dum dum.

Joya's totally a cheerleader in the first pic. Cell phone in hand and all!
