Another recipe swap!

Ok, it's time for another RECIPE SWAP!!

This will be the 3rd time I've done one of these.. last time we had close to 100 recipes.

Submit 3 recipes to me.. a crock pot, main dish and dessert recipe to me by next Sunday the 16th. I'll put them all together in a word document and then email them out to everyone that contributes a recipe.

Keep em simple and with few ingredients.. I'm not a cook that loves a million ingredients because I always seem to have everything I need til I go to make it and I'm missing one thing. =/

Email me at darcyholsopple@gmail.com with your recipes.

Here's some of our fave's from recipe swap past..

Italian Crock Pot Chicken
4-5 Boneless Chicken Breasts
1 8oz. Package of Cream Cheese
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Cup Milk
1 Small can diced Green Chile's
1 Package Italian Dressing (Season Packet)

Throw it all in a crock pot and heat on low for 6-8 hours on low or 4-6 hours on high. We serve ours over rice.

My good friends Lindsay Maust and Melissa Worthman both submitted this recipe!  We LOVE it!

Chicken Tacos
4 FROZEN chicken breast (my fave part is that they are frozen!)
1 can diced tomatoes
1 packet of taco seasoning

Throw them all in the crockpot for 5-6 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low.  We eat these with tortillas, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. I'm pretty sure this is how Mexican Restaurants make their chicken.. it tastes just like it!

That recipe was from Kat Post.. we LOVE it and the frozen chicken part? Genius. =)

To Die for Crock Pot Roast
1 beef roast
1 (1 1/4oz) package of brown gravy mix, dry
1 (1 1/4oz) package of dried italian salad dressing mix
1 (1 1/4oz) package of ranch dressing mix, dry
1/2 cup water

Place beef in crock pot. Mix the dried mixes together and sprinkle over post roast.  Pour water around the edges of the crock pot.  Cook on low for 7-9 hours depending on the thickness of the roast.

This recipe is from my sister-in-law (Liz's) mom, Barb Peden.  I made this one on Christmas Eve for my entire family!  I added potatoes, carrots and onions.. YUM!

Those are just a few tasters of some of the recipes we exchanged last time.  They have become staple meals here at our house.  I know the next swap will do the same!
