RemarKable Kacia!!!

Okay, there must have been an influx of "K" names about 15-16 years ago.. I'm having troubles finding K descriptive words! Work with me here!!!

Anyway, today's GYMNAST OF THE DAY is the inKomparable, remarKable, fantastiK, terrifiK:

KACIA!!!

(Kacia is to the right with Miss Alyssa to the left)

Kacia's one of our 2 freshman this year. (Yep, only one day left of Gymnast of the Day!) I've only known this little gal for a couple of months compared to the other girls that I've coached for a couple of years! But you GOTTA love Kacia! She's such a cutie and fun to be around.

What I like about Kacia:
The little gal is just so cute! I like her for how respectful she is of the other girls. Only once have I heard her complain about being called "the freshman". Freshmen get stuck carrying spring boards and doing all sorts of no-fun things.. Kacia takes it with stride and I know she'll be a very sweet upper-classman.

Greatest Accomplishment:
Kacia already had a no-fall beam routine this year! So proud of her! Beam's not usually her event so we were So happy when she whipped out a no-fall at our first home meet. Kacia's also working really hard on bars.. she got her kip this year and is doing a mean bar routine!
OOOO.. and last night was the first night that she threw her back-tuck in her floor routine! She literally got it the night before and threw it last night! Good job, Kacia!

Funny story of Kacia's:
Our first invitational we were all ready to leave and yep, no Kacia to be found. None of us know where she is so we decide to swing by her house in the ol' mini bus to pick her up. When we got there, a frantic Kacia comes running out of her house. Yep, she accidentally slept in. She had to go to the meet bed-head and all. I bet she'll never forget to set her alarm for an invite again!

What makes Kacia, Kacia:
Prolly her concern with doing things right. While coaching her the cute lil' thing staring at you trying to soak in all you are telling her. I like the way she freaks out, too. It's so cute and freshmany!

How I am proud of lil' ol' Kacia:
I'm proud of Kacia for being who she is through her youngness on the team. Does that make sense? We're getting to know Kacia more and more and I just love this gal. She's got SO much potential and I can't wait to see what the next 3 years with WHS gymnastics brings! Keep up the good work, Chica!

Okay, blog-friends.. Praise up KACIA!!!

Keep working hard and improving. You guys are on your way back to the top. Keep doing a good job of setting the stage for the older girls in beam. It won't be long until you'll be doing great things on varsity.
