(and at this moment Adie has just sprinted into the bathroom and told Darcy "surprise"...kind of ruined it. Oh well, I guess a two year old isn't into secrets)
Darin: I lov you so much Babe. You are a great mom. You are patient, yet firm. You show our two girls how to grow into young ladies. I love watching how Adie wants to be just like you. I hope she is! You are the most amazing wife ever. You are so giving and thoughtful. I don't know where I'd be without you (actually I do...at camp without: flashlight, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste) Thanks for being so good at loving me!

Darcy, Happy Birthday!!! from a blog reader in Nashville. You have been making me laugh for about 2 1/2 years (maybe longer) and I think you are just the sweetest, funniest girl. I've enjoyed hearing about you becoming a mom (two times) and watching you live out the Christian life. I pray you will have the most fabulous year.
